Specimen Lakes – System

GATE OPENING TIMES 9am – 12noon

Only come if you are booked on the lakes. Tickets are sold by online booking only.

On arrival, please follow the drive to the top and turn left through the wooden gate onto the yard. Once there please stay in your car behind the sign for the designated pool you are booked on. If you do get out of your car MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES. At 10.30am we will start our draw. We assign a number to each booking and then draw numbers out of a hat. When your number is drawn customers can choose from what is available as normal. If you are not present at 10.30am for the draw we will proceed without you. After the draw is finished we will ring you and let you know what peg you are on, or if there is a choice what pegs are available to choose from.

Once all pegs have become available we will let you down to the lake and the peg designated to you. This is normally around 11am, but can vary.

When down at the lake please disinfect your equipment before you start and make sure your net, cradle and sling are all in the correct place, clean and completely dry. If it isn’t dry please leave it outside to dry. Please bring your own landing net with you if you are on Bridge or Glovers, ALSO PLEASE BRING BIVVYS ON QUARRY – THE HUTS ARE NOT IN USE. Please also bring sanitiser with you.

This new system runs for 23 hours, tickets will run from 12pm – 11am. If you come fishing and arrive after 12pm your fishing time still started at 12pm and will end accordingly. The hour between leaving and arrival allows for no contact between anglers. Obviously if you are doing more than 24 hours you don’t have to come off.

PLEASE REMEMBER: If you are feeling ill or are in self isolation stay at home and do not come fishing.

The Shop & Cafe – System

The shop is open and products are available to buy. Please ring and speak to a member of staff to make an order. This will then be left for you to collect outside the shop. The shop is open from 8am-5pm Daily.

The cafe has an exciting new chef starting on 29th March called Richard. Richard was the Head Chef at The Red Lion Inn, Market Drayton. He is operating a take away service to start with until guidelines change. To make an order please call 07395963511. Runs Waters & Day Tickets – System

Only come if you are booked on the lakes. Tickets are sold by online booking only.

There is a new booking system for the runs waters. To book a swim please visit our website www.badenhallfishery.com/bookingsruns and select the pool you would like to fish. When paying please ensure your entered card details match the information the Bank holds for your address and postcode.

The system allows for 23 hour tickets: these tickets will run from 9am – 8am, or Day tickets: these run from 9am – 6pm. If you come fishing and arrive after 9am your fishing time still started at 9am and will end accordingly. The hour between leaving and arrival allows for no contact between anglers. Obviously if you are doing more than 24 hours you don’t have to come off.

The lakes will run at a capacity limit of:

• 12 pegs on Dam Pool
• 25 Pegs on Lodge Pool
• 45 Pegs on Middle Pool
• 20 Pegs on Doughnut

This is to ensure people do not get too close and can maintain social distancing whilst fishing. Each peg has a 1 person limit, 1 guest from your bubble is allowed if they are booked on when your booking is made.

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 7.30AM

There will be a new pegging system on the lakes to ensure people do not get too close, please see the pool maps on the website for peg locations. When you arrive on the fishery please follow the tarmac drive to the top and turn right. Once there please do not go to the pools until you’re asked to. The shop and Café will be in operation for breakfast or anything you have forgotten. If you do get out of your car please MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES.
