Stafford Fishery, Carp, Match & Pleasure Waters
LODGE POOL
Our newest runs water located on the left when you come through the main gates to the fishery.
The fishing is from around the lake to the far margin along the island. There are many features on this very picturesque lake including sunken islands, bars and good marginal features on both banks with overhanging bushes and reeds. Carp can be caught from all over the lake with a variety of tactics and baits.
Surface fishing is very popular in the warmer months and a lot of carp can be caught on this method.
Size
Lodge is around 4 acres, 235 yards long and 100 yards wide split with a central island.
Bottom
Clay bottom with a number of underwater features which include bars and sunken islands.
Depth
Maximum depth of 9ft with an average of 6ft.
Banks & Pegs
28 pegs. Secluded bark chipped bivvy areas set back from the water or pitch up at the edge.
First time at Baden Hall, have to say I am very impressed, Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Plenty of good doubles up to 25lb provide great sport.
Baits
Everything from Surface and sinking floaters, Dynamite Monster Tigernut boilies, Sticky Baits Manilla and Krill, Mainline Cell and Complex-T all work.
Rigs
Ready tied rigs from all reputable manufactures, Surface rigs, Chods, Ronnies, all produce results.
