GENERAL FISHERY RULES
Failure to follow the rules below will result in you being asked to leave site and banned from the fishery.
- Baden Hall Fisheries accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to fishing tackle, cars, persons or any other property however caused.
- All rubbish must be taken with you when you leave the lake.
- No antisocial or threatening behaviour including loud music and drinking to excess.
- Do not leave cigarette butts around the swim areas.
- No generators.
- No swimming.
- No dogs allowed.
- No drones.
- No driving on the grass under any circumstance, please stay on the roads and tracks.
- No BBQ’s or fires. Small gas cooking equipment is allowed.
- No rods to be left unattended in the water at any time.
- Do not interfere with any machinery, cray pots, signage etc.
- No beach casting methods.
- All waters have a 2-rod limit.
- It is the angler’s responsibility to ensure they have the relevant environment agency licences.
- Please check for any additional/seasonal rules in reception or by calling us before your visit. Bailiffs’ rules are final - no arguments.
FISH CARE
- Carp care kits to be carried and used when appropriate.
- All fish must be unhooked in the net.
- Unhooking mats/cradles must be used.
- No carp sacks allowed under any circumstances.
- All fish must be returned to the water.
- Please keep fish wet at all times. Make sure all mats and slings are wet before using and when handling the fish with fresh pond water.
- No standing up or carrying fish back to the water's edge without using a net or weigh sling.
TACKLE RULES
- BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY.
- No lead core leaders. Safezone leaders and tubing are permitted.
- Use of the Magic Twig is not allowed.
- No fixed leads.
- If using a spod/spomb, spomb floats must be used.
- Rig checks will be carried out, failure to comply with the rules will result in you being asked to leave.
- No braided fishing lines. Braid on a spod/marker rod is ok, and as a hook length.
BAIT RULES
- Waste bait is not to be disposed of in the waters.
- All boilies must be Freezer boilies.
- The use of peanuts, tiger nuts, high oil trout pellets, shelf-life boilies, plastic baits and homemade baits are not permitted.
- Zig foam is permitted.
RUNS & MATCH WATER SPECIFIC RULES
- All waters have a 2-rod limit.
- Juniors (under 16s) must be accompanied by an adult and share the same peg if the lakes are busy.
- Bait boats are allowed by bailiffs’ discretion. Please respect your water boundaries.
- No keepnets except during matches – 5 hour net limit during matches to be observed.
- No Bloodworm or Joker to be used.
SPECIMEN LAKES SPECIFIC RULES
- Strictly 18’s and over.
- No guests are allowed.
- Landing nets, weigh slings & cradles are supplied and these must be used at all times. Do not use your own equipment – this is for Bio Security.
- 3 rods are allowed from the 1st November to the 28th February, this is also when you can target the pike and use dead bait and lures.
- Maggot/Castors and worm are to be thoroughly cleaned and used only as hook bait or in solid bags – they are not allowed to be fed in large quantities.
- Minimum line strength 15lb.
- Bait boats can be used on Bridge and Glovers.
- No bait boats on Quarry.
- No Bivvies allowed on Quarry.
- Gates must be kept closed at all times.
